Quick Overview These adult-sized Care Glycerin Suppositories treat occasional constipation at its source. The suppository dissolves inside the rectum, releasing the glycerin formula. This stimulates the bowl muscles and encourages them to contract the increased movement helps to loosen any blockages, helping stools to move along for easy passing. Glycerin also has a gentle lubricating effect, which helps to provide even more relief from painful constipation. Moisten before use, insert the pointed end first, and remain still whilst the suppository dissolves. If, after a few days of using these Care Glycerin Suppositories, you are still experiencing symptoms of constipation, then consult your doctor. How to Use: One to be inserted when necessary. Hold the wide base of the suppository in the fold of a cloth. Lubricate the pointed end with petroleum jelly and insert well into the rectum of the child or infant to be treated. Even though complete solution is not necessary for action, the suppository should be held for five minutes to induce a motion.

Use one suppository when required. Repeat if necessary.

• Adults & children over 12 years: one 4g suppository.
• Children 12 months to 12 years: one 2g suppository
• Infants newborn to 12 months: one 1g suppository

To remove suppository, tear one from the strip along the perforation, then peel it from the container by pulling apart the tabs at the top of the suppository. If suppository is soft, place in refrigerator for 30 minutes prior to use.

• Moisten the tip of the suppository with water before insertion.
• Insert one suppository well up in the rectum (back passage) and allow to remain for 15 to 30 minutes.
• Lie on one side and pull up knees. Gently insert suppository, pointed end first, high into the rectum. It is not necessary for the entire suppository to melt to obtain satisfactory results.
• Onset of action usually between 15 to 60 minutes.
