Product Description

Ensure Plus juice is a high energy, 220ml ready to drink, juice style nutritional supplement for the dietary management of patients with, or at risk of developing, disease-related malnutrition. Each serving contains 330 kcal, 10.6g protein and 27 vitamins and minerals. Food for Special Medical Purposes, for use under medical supervision. Suitable as a nutritional supplement for patients who cannot or will not eat sufficient quantities of everyday food and drink to meet their nutritional requirements. Not suitable as a sole source of nutrition. It is particularly suitable for patients who have taste aberrations or an aversion to ‘milky’ supplements.
*Vitamin D is synthesised from cholesterol, extracted from the grease in wool sheared from live sheep. Most manufacturers use vitamin D from this source, which is approved by the Vegetarian Society.

Ingredients

Water, maltodextrin, sucrose, milk protein, acidity regulators (E507, E330, E296), flavouring, colour: E160c, vitamins (C, E, niacinamide, calcium pantothenate, vitamin A palmitate, B1, B6, B2, folic acid, K1, biotin, D3), minerals (ferrous sulphate, zinc sulphate, manganese sulphate, cupric sulphate, potassium iodide, sodium molybdate, chromium chloride, sodium selenate).

Directions

1. Ready to use. For oral use. Best served chilled.
2. Shake well, once opened, cover, refrigerate and use within 24 hours.
3. May also be served as a warm drink.
4. Do not boil. Can also be added to other foods.
