Product Description

The Peptac Peppermint Flavour liquid antacid functions as a soothing remedy to treat heartburn and acid reflux and indigestion symptoms. The 500ml bottle contains a mild yet potent solution which works by neutralizing stomach acid and creating a protective barrier to stop acid from moving into the oesophagus.

Ingredients

Each 10ml contains: Sodium Alginate 500mg, Sodium Bicarbonate 267mg, Calcium Carbonate 160mg. The product contains two preservatives: methyl parahydroxybenzoate E218) and propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216).

Directions

1. Shake well before use. Adults and children over 12: Take 10–20ml after meals and at bedtime, or as directed by your healthcare professional.

• If you're on a sodium-restricted diet, consult with your doctor or a pharmacist before taking it as 10ml of this medicine contains about 6mmols of sodium.
• Tell your doctor first if you're taking any other medicines, especially ACE inhibitors, analgesics, antibiotics, antiepileptics, antifungals, antimalarials antipsychotics, bisphosphonates, lithium and penicillamine.
